Second round: Innovation Awareness (InnoAware 2.0) Training
The participants of the second round of Innovation Awareness (InnoAware) Experts Training were certified on 31th of October 2018. The training was organized by the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises project (PSME) in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). The first round of the InnoAware training was conducted back in 2017 and the first batch of 16 participants were certified in January 2018. Further information about the first round are available here.
Then the second round was conducted starting from July 2018 to widen InnoAware exposure and reach more entities, ending with additional 13 participants certified. The participants conducted various pilot projects to raise innovation awareness as part of the training; the projects covered various governorates, e.g. Cairo, Alexandria, Sohag and Asyut, and targeted more than 100 beneficiaries including companies, start-ups and students.
In order to ensure the sustainability of InnoAware, the developed InnoAware toolbox was distributed among participants and attendees from different entities during the certificate ceremony. The toolbox can be found here: English and Arabic. In addition, three networking events were conducted throughout the year to maintain collaboration among InnoAware participants.
